GunnBuilding continua a revisitar alguns dos sets mais emblemáticos do tema Adventurers. Acima temos o 5928 que, curiosamente, foi um dos meus primeiros sets que comprei já sendo AFOL.

Já agora, sabem como é que ele conseguiu colocar as asas tão fininhas?

Este, o 5938, já não consegui ter na altura que andava por aí. De qualquer forma estas novas interpretações que o GunnBuilding anda a fazer, só me convencem cada vez mais que um tema deste género iria ser um enorme sucesso! Sim, sem aqueles monstro horríveis ou fantasia de filme B como aconteceu com o Pharaoh's Quest.

Não, não é o anúncio de dois sets, mas sim de um set que pode representar dois Porsches 911 diferentes. A LEGO continua, e bem, a lançar regularmente veículos automóveis icónicos criando assim uma colecção que neste momento já consegue abarcar vários dos carros mais conhecidos do século passado. Já construí vários deles, tenho dois (o Beatle e o Fiat 500) e posso dizer que além de representarem muito bem os veículos originais, garantem uma experiência de construção muito interessante.

BILLUND, JANUARY 28^th 2021: The LEGO® Group has wound the clock back to the era of big hair, new wave and punk rock for the launch of the latest LEGO car set, the two-in-one LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa bridges the gap across two decades to unite this pair of iconic sports cars.

To celebrate the latest LEGO version of the ubiquitous rear-engined German sports car, LEGO has collaborated with Porsche to recreate a selection of the most vivid adverts from the model’s history, this time starring the smaller but equally desirable LEGO namesake.

The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa have been faithfully recreated in LEGO brick form as a two-in-one model, allowing the builder to build a coupe or convertible from the same set. Both are rich in detail, with from their rear-mounted engines to their classic silhouettes and sculpted sports seats in eye-catching orange-nougat.

Four Porsche adverts from throughout the 911’s history have been selected to be made into LEGO art prints, as part of a limited-edition LEGO Porsche owners pack. Along with the collectible art prints, the pack also contains a certificate of ownership and a card wallet in a smart collector’s portfolio. The LEGO Porsche owners pack will be available in limited numbers for customers who order the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa set through LEGO’s free VIP loyalty program.

LEGO is also offering brick and Porsche fans alike the chance to hear the stories behind the design of the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa with an online car meet to be hosted via LEGO.com on 16^th February exclusively for members of LEGO’s free VIP loyalty program. The session will be led by LEGO design master Mike Psiaki, along with Exterior Designer at Porsche, Fabian Schmölz and Jörg Thilow of Porsche Heritage and Museum.

The talk will delve into the rich heritage of the original Porsche 911 and its beautiful, elegant yet sporty design that has been adapted over the years but never changed. As a result, every generation is instantly recognisable as a Porsche 911.

As is befitting of a major car launch, LEGO has also taken a trip to a fantasy LEGO Car Factory, with a 1980s-inspired animation of the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa rolling along the production line, inspired by a bygone era of car production and extravagant launches.

LEGO® CAR FAMILY ADDS A NEW VERSION OF A LEGEND: TWO-IN-ONE LEGO PORSCHE 911 TURBO AND 911 TARGA SET REVEALED

BILLUND, January 28^th 2021: The LEGO® Group has taken the covers off a new LEGO version of one of the most coveted nameplates in automotive history, with the unveiling of the two-in-one LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa set that brings together two icons from the 1970s and 80s.

LEGO builders and classic car enthusiasts alike will love the dual building routes of this set. The new two-in-one LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa set can be built either as the fixed roof 911 Turbo model or as the open-roofed 911 Targa at one time, allowing fans to choose between classic coupe or convertible style.

Channelling the essence of the ubiquitous German sports car, the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa variants feature all the hallmarks of their namesakes, from the aerodynamic shoulder line to angled headlamps and sculpted bonnet with Porsche badge and rear-mounted flat six ‘boxer’ engine.

Beneath their elegant silhouettes, the LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo and 911 Targa variants hide a wealth of detail. On both versions of the model, the 2+2 sports seats and dashboard are finished in dark orange and nougat, an eclectic colour scheme based on contemporary upholstery options from the Porsche 911. Further interior details include a handbrake, gearshift and functional steering, while the front seats also tilt forward for access to the rear bench seats.  

Several features which are unique to the 911 Turbo and 911 Targa variants of the set ensure they are equally characterful but distinct when built. The LEGO Porsche 911 Turbo sports distinctive Turbo badging, a wide rear axle, turbocharger and intercooler, denoting its blistering performance credentials. Its athletic look is completed with an integrated rear spoiler.

Meanwhile, the LEGO Porsche 911 Targa’s roof is fully removable and can be stowed underneath the hood of the car. The iconic Targa Bar completes the look, along with Targa badging and a brick-built wraparound rear window.

Peças novas!!!

Mas além das peças novas, dá para perceber rapidamente que o LEGO Designer puxou novamente das mangas e criou um set cheio de bons detalhes de construção. Peças ao contrário, utilizações originais, gadgets, etc. Tudo num modelo bastante pequeno.

Não é propriamente um set para entrar na minha wishlist (não sou grande apreciador do mundo automóvel), mas é daqueles que ficará bem em qualquer prateleira de um AFOL ou até mesmo de um fã de carros desportivos!

Azul é um jogo de tabuleiro (que apesar do seu nome português e de ser inspirado nos azulejos portugueses, é um jogo de origem alemã) que teve um sucesso estrondoso há um par de anos atrás. O jogo tem regras até relativamente simples, mas as combinações são tantas que se torna viciante jogar. Apesar de não o jogar há já algum tempo (de qualquer forma emprestei-o já há uns bons meses), este MOC do Toltomeja deu-me vontade de o ter novamente na mesa. Podem saber mais sobre o jogo aqui.

A construção está simplesmente espectacular e bastante fiel ao jogo real. Além disso a adição da mesa é genial.

Aos poucos vou percebendo que não é raro haver pessoal que gosta de LEGO e jogos de tabuleiro :)
